If you have served honorably during any eligible war eras or are on active duty today, serving honorably, become a member of The American Legion!

World War I April 6, 1917 – November 11, 1918
World War II December 7, 1941 – December 31, 1946
US Merchant Marines December 7, 1941 – August 15, 1945
Korea June 25, 1950 – January 31, 1955
Vietnam February 28, 1961 – May 7, 1975
Lebanon & Grenada August 24, 1982 – July 31, 1984
Panama December 20, 1989 – January 31, 1990
Presently August 2, 1990 – present

To join our Post, please contact the Post 70 Membership Chair,  by calling:

(410) 822-9138 or by sending an email at: doug@mdlegion.org to set up an appointment to meet in person. This way he can provide the best information and personally welcome you to our Legion Family.

In addition, please print out the appropriate form located on this page and have filled out when you come for your appointment. You will need a check or cash in the amount of $35 and proof of eligibility as mentioned on the home page of our Membership section and is also located on our forms that we have posted.
